Rain will continue today.
The community of Jasper will likely see lesser rainfall amounts, with total amounts up to 15 mm forecast by this evening. Higher amounts are expected on the eastern slopes of the Rockies, with total amounts between 30 and 50 mm forecast by this evening.
Heavy wet snow is also expected over higher terrain today, such as Sunwapta Pass. Local snowfall amounts could reach 10 cm by this afternoon for elevations above 1900 m.
